Product Description

The economizer is a device installed in the lower part of the flue at the tail of the boiler to recover the waste heat of the exhausted smoke.
It heats the boiler feed water into a heating surface of saturated water under the pressure of the steam drum. The exhaust temperature of the flue gas is reduced, energy is saved, and efficiency is improved, so it is called an economizer.
The steel tube economizer is not limited by pressure and can be used as a boiling type. It is generally made of carbon steel tubes with an outer diameter of 32 to 51 mm. Sometimes fins and ribs are added to the tube to improve the heat transfer effect.
The steel tube economizer consists of horizontally arranged parallel elbow tubes (usually called serpentine tubes). Economizers are mainly used in industry, but are gradually popularized in agriculture and some related industries.
There are many ways to classify economizers, which can be classified as follows:
1. According to the degree of heating of the feed water: it can be divided into two types: non-boiling type and boiling type.
2. Divided by manufacturing materials: cast iron and steel pipe economizers. Non-boiling economizers are mostly made of cast iron, but they are also made of steel pipes, while boiling economizers can only be made of steel pipes. Cast iron economizers are mostly used in boilers with pressure ≤ 2.5MPa. If the pressure exceeds 2.5MPa, an economizer made of steel pipes should be used.
3. According to the form of the device, there are two types: vertical and horizontal.
4. According to the relative flow direction of smoke exhaust and water supply, there are three types: co-current, counter-current and mixed.
5. According to the structure: light tube economizer and finned economizer. Finned economizers include: H-type economizer (used more) and spiral fin economizer.
6. According to the form of heat conduction: direct conduction and indirect conduction;
