2507 / F53 alloy is a super duplex stainless steel rod composed of 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel. Its strength and corrosion resistance are strong, mainly used in chemical processing, petrochemical and subsea equipment. It has strong resistance to chloride corrosion, higher thermal conductivity and lower thermal expansion coefficient. The high chromium, molybdenum and nickel content makes it highly resistant to pitting, crevice and uniform corrosion.
Its impact strength is also very high. 2507 / F53 Super duplex stainless steel rod is not suitable for use at temperatures higher than 570 ° F. For a long time in such an environment, its toughness will decrease.
