Product DescriptionCarbon Steel Channel is a hot rolled product with inside radius corners and is widely used in construction and structural applications. Shaped into a C (parallel flange) or U (tapered flange), the channel has two flanges that come together at 90-degree angles that help create strength. It features excellent weldability, machining, drilling, punching, tapping and grinding. 

The properties of this Carbon Steel Channel are achieved with overall lower alloy content than similar - performing super - austenitic grades, making their use cost - effective for many applications. The crystal structure makes such Carbon Steel C-Channel virtually non- magnetic and less brittle at low temperatures. For greater hardness and strength, more carbon is added in our Carbon Steel Chain. With proper heat treatment, this Carbon Steel C-Chain is used for such products as razor blades, cutlery, and tools. It's ideal for frames in machinery, vehicles and buildings.
